I've Joined the Blogging World

I've thought about this for a long time. Probably too long if I admit it to myself. But, I've come to a decision.


I've decided to join the blogging world. The book blogging world to be exact.


I love reading. I've loved it my entire life. I remember the day that I told my Great Granny that one day I was going to have a library full of books. And now, I almost do. Between my Kindle and the books on my bookshelf, I own thousands of books. I love the new book world that's opened up with indie publishers, e-readers, book blogs, book forums, and the like. And I've decided to join it.


I'm tired of spending hours (yes, I mean hours) searching Amazon to find books that I may like. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and actively join the book frenzy. I figure by putting the positive book energy I have into the universe, then good book energy will come back to me, right? Ha. So that means I'll find even more good books to read.


I want to use this blog to share the books I find that I like (and those that I may not), to find authors or genres I may not normally read, and to meet new book friends. I love romance novels. So, you can expect to see a lot of romance novels here. But while I heart romance, I love women's fiction, chick lit, and mysteries as well. So, you'll see a mix of those also. However, I'm not a fan of sci-fi or anything vampire-related. I'm a happy ending type and sci-fi and vampires just don't fit into my book world right now. But, that could change. I won't rule against it.


So, here's to me throwing my hat (ok, I don't wear hats...so my purse) into the book blogging world....
